The hotel's mountain theme impressed right from the entrance, and the cleanliness of the room was commendable. The hot tub was a nice touch after a long day of skiing. On the downside, there was a lack of hot water, making showers uncomfortable. something that could be a dealbreaker for families. Additionally, the decor and furniture felt stuck in the 1980s, and a remodel is long overdue.

The room, however, was a letdown. it felt outdated, the mattress was uncomfortable, and we experienced issues with temperature control. No air conditioning made it hard to sleep comfortably, especially in warmer weather, and our room was smaller than expected. Parking was easy, and the location provides quick access to shops and other dining options. Overall, I appreciated the staff's efforts and the amenities, but the room quality could use serious improvements. This stay didn’t meet the higher price point we paid.

It was just a great match for a cursory stop in Snowmass Village with fantastic value. The elk spring rolls were a highlight during our meals, so tasty we returned to the restaurant three times! If you can, try to eat there for delicious options and friendly service.

The bathroom could use some attention. the flush system was finicky, which was annoying during my stay. Additionally, the décor felt pretty dated, and the bathtub showed noticeable scratches, indicating it could benefit from an upgrade. A few amenities, like trash cans and hooks, felt lacking considering the room's size. Finally, while the proximity to slopes is a huge plus, the overall maintenance and room comfort could improve.
